The Hunger Moon comes in late winter when our frozen land provides little to eat — yet even in the depths of winter, pasture-raised meats and eggs provide hearty and nourishing meals.
While these days many of us have access to all kinds of food whenever we want it, our farm name is a nod to the rhythm of the seasons and a reminder to cherish food as a gift.

Hunger Moon Farm exists today on the land of Stony Pond Farm, an organic dairy and beef farm in Fairfield, VT. We are working for Stony Pond while getting our farm started with the benefit of land, infrastructure, and equipment access.
