Want to stock up on our delicious Certified Organic, pasture raised chicken? This 5 bird bundle can be yours. Our average bird is around 4.5lbs. You are welcome to come to the farm and pick up your birds or we will bring them to your doorstep/coordinate a meet up within one hour of Fairfield, VT.
Certified Organic and Pasture Raised
Conventional broiler chickens are harvested at 6-8 weeks. Our Freedom Rangers and Kosher Kings spend 10-12 weeks foraging around lush pasture, eating grass, insects, and organic grain milled in Vermont. This extra time on pasture allows them to develop a deep, rich flavor and nutritional profile. We also use an open shelter combined with electric netting so that the birds can safely roam free without being confined to a chicken tractor. We process our birds on-farm to minimize transport and handling stress.
